The priority flow control valve allocates the input oil quantity (E- pressure input) to the oil port P (controlled quantity) depending on the setting of the adjustment dial and keeps it constant.
The excess oil quantity can be used at connection B (additional usable quantity - loadable) for further functions.
A return flow from P to E is limited by the selected opening of the choke and is not pressure balanced. Reverse flow from B is not permissible and will cause damage to the valve or the system.
